This year’s post-manatee trip was to Devils Den, just a little further north of our previous dive site – Blue Grotto. An interesting experience as the dive site is completely underground and entry is through a narrow rock tunnel. The site itself is not very deep, only 50ft, but it offers a wide area of diving with some really great swim-throughs and views of the surface from the bottom. Underground diving at Devils Den is sort of like cave diving, but not quite. The water was a bit chilly (I recommend a warm wetsuit) but clear viz despite other divers in the water. Definitely a fun dive and I would absolutely go back again!
